As so often happens in sports, she didn't land properly, and ended up on her face while her competitor slid past her to the finish. Pride comes before a fall: we have heard that so often, but perhaps we don't appreciate just what that means for us. Watch as Pastor MacLaren shows from the prophet Isaiah how an ancient king fell from the soaring heights of his pride into the depths of the grave itself. This sermon was preached on August 2, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church (Orthodox Presbyterian) in Perkasie, PA. To learn more about the church, go to our website at www.firstchurchopc.com.
