Janet Fesler Memorial Service Part I
Janet Fesler, whose sermon is part of this collection, passed away on July 10, 2009 after her almost two year battle with cancer. She was a beloved member of a large community spread from Minneapolis through Saint Paul to the eastern edge of Minnesota on the St. Croix river. Her passing leaves an empty spot in all our hearts.
Janet was instrumental in Edg%#$be Presbyterian church's reawakening and recovery from the edge of closing. She provided the leadership and connections which kept our pulpit filled from November 2006 through August 2007 when God sent us Phil and Julie GebbenGreen. It was immediately after completing this great work for Edg#%#$be that she discovered she had cancer.
We loved her and will always carry a place for her in our hearts.
