The need of the church today: The Barnabas spirit
The Book of Acts records for us the many exploits of apostles like Paul and Peter. But Barnabas stood out as one who had proven Paul wrong concerning someone in the ministry. Barnabas was not listed as one of the twelve apostles, neither was he one of the seven deacons chosen to serve tables. But he was a man of generous spirit, a man who believed that a failure should be given a second chance. May God give the church the Barnabas spirit.
