This beautiful hymn tells us of God's constant watch and care over His children. Though at times, the trials of life may be unbearable, God has never left us on our own. He is watching us. If our Heavenly Father knows the seemingly insignificant sparrow that falls to the ground, wouldn't He know when we are going through the trials and tribulations of life? 'So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows' (Matt 10:31). His eye is on the sparrow, His eye is watching over us. This is our loving Father, our God who cares for, and loves us.
