Christian comedian John Crist is back at it again, and this one had me in stitches from the very beginning! John and his ‘date’ Beth Pilgreen show us what’s really and truly going on in the minds of a man and a woman who have just started dating and have decided to go to church together.

As Christians, we are not immune to some of the difficult decisions related to dating. In fact, if we are following His word, Christian dating may even involve more struggles, as we try to uphold our values in a world that doesn’t always share our morals.

John is always so good at kindly poking fun of some of the daily complexities of navigating relationships that only Christians can really understand. He does it in such a way that you know he’s laughing with you and not at you!

"I feel like if there is any ribbing or maybe roasting of the church or Christian culture, I like to say, 'It's not me pointing at you guys, it's me shining a mirror at us. I'm in the front of it, look at us,'" John shared in an interview with CBN.

In John’s video, which has already gone viral, everything from where to put your hands, whether to keep your eyes open or closed, and whether you have to look at the screen to know the words of the songs are all questioned. "I'm not gonna raise my hands unless he does first."

In this funny viral video, John and Beth worry about what each other thinks of their worship style. Dates early on the relationship can be so awkward! And while moments like these can open up meaningful conversations after the service, it’s pretty hilarious to imagine what is going on in each other’s minds!
