Keith Urban Sings to Fan in Her Hospital Room When She Can't Make Concert
Keith Urban surprised his "number one" fan, Marissa English, at a hospital in Ohio last week before his concert there. Keith is no stranger to treating his fans well and seems to love to brighten their day with a wonderful surprise. Keith sang ‘Amazing Grace’ with his wife, Nicole Kidman when they were visiting a hospital a few years back. He’s also known for pulling a fan on stage with him to play guitar with him when he noticed the man’s sign.
Marissa had tickets for Urban's show in Toledo, but wasn’t going to be able to go due to her declining health. Marissa, 25, was born with a several health conditions, including cerebral palsy, severe scoliosis, and a cyst on her brain.
Keith learned Marissa was sad to miss his show when a group of her nurses reached out on social media to make sure he knew. It turned into a social media campaign to invite the singer to the hospital when the nurses’ post got hundreds of retweets!
Keith also dedicated his concert to his ‘number one fan’ Marissa.
