Garth Brooks Serenades 89-Year-Old Grandma

Country superstar Garth Brooks gives one grandma a birthday to remember when he serenades her during his concert. Recently, legendary musician Garth Brooks was performing at a concert in Lafayette, Louisiana.

While singing, he noticed an interesting sign in the crowd. The poster said 'Elvis Was My Last Concert.' When Garth spotted the sign, he decided to go over the woman and get the story behind the poster. As the audience went crazy, Garth found out that the holder of the sign was an 89-year-old grandmother named Laura. Right then and there, Garth decided to do something amazing and serenade Laura with the song of her choice.

She chose 'If Tomorrow Never Comes,' a 1989 smash hit for the country artist. As he began to play the familiar tune, the crowd sang along with each line.

“If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way to show her every day
That she's my only one
And if my time on earth were through
And she must face the world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes”

At the conclusion of the song, Garth handed Laura his guitar and her shocked face summed up the moment perfectly. What an amazing birthday surprise for the entire arena to witness. I think this birthday is going to go down in history as one that Laura will remember for the rest of her life.
