Sermon from Sunday, June 7, 2009. The text is John 3:1-17, the story of Nicodemus. Jesus tries to explain the concept of new birth, new life and Nick has a hard time understanding it. This story is about us: Sometimes we have a hard time understanding God's Word. Sometimes we come to God "by night" - from the dark places in our lives. God doesn't expect us to have all the answers; he invites us to come in and talk so he can help us understand.
