Cody Carnes is a songwriter and worship pastor, and he is also married to Kari Jobe. In 2017, he released his critically acclaimed debut studio album, The Darker the Night / The Brighter the Morning. His second studio album titled Run to the Father was released in 2020. Cody was also featured alongside his wife, Kari Jobe, on the popular worship song ‘The Blessing.’ 

The song ‘Too Good To Not Believe’ was written by Brandon Lake, Chris Davenport, Cody Carnes, and Josh Silverberg. Cody shares that it was inspired by “healing we have seen and healing we still want to see. We’ve seen cancer disappear. We’ve seen broken bodies healed. Don’t you tell me He can’t do it.”

Cody also shared a little more about the story behind the song in another interview. “I love in Revelation 19 when it talks about how the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy,” Cody says. “What I think that means is when you testify what Jesus has done and who He is, it prophecies that He can do it again. Because He is who He is. He’s the same, yesterday, today and forever. So that’s really what this song is. It’s meant to declare testimonies.”
