Jealous Toddler Wants Uncle’s Girlfriend All To Himself
A young child seems to have a thing for older women, particularly his uncle’s girlfriend.
Jealousy usually isn’t a good thing. It can lead to anger, resentment and other sinful actions. God's Word warns against envy, jealousy, and coveting someone's possessions. Those are feelings and emotions to avoid in nearly every circumstance.
However, one hilarious video shows a toddler who obviously has his eye on an older woman, his uncle’s girlfriend. He’s jealous of his uncle and their feelings for one another. The child even takes steps to put distance between them, literally.
The video begins with a toddler climbing up and going down a red and plastic slide. A young woman sits on the floor on the left side of the slide, watching the young child.
As the child reaches the top of the slide, she encourages him to go down the slide, telling him to “go down the slide.” The little guy moves his legs up and down repeatedly as a big grin comes across his face.
The child is no doubt trying to impress the young woman.
The toddler eventually slides down successfully and immediately runs to the back of the toy, preparing for another go at it. A young man, the child’s uncle, appears in the video. He stands near the back and off to the side of the young woman, who happens to be his girlfriend.
The child starts a second climb up the stairs but then spots something that disturbs him – his uncle begins holding hands with the young woman.
The child is not going to stand for this!
He says, “Oh no," then physically separates their hands, telling them to “stop!”
The couple tries it again. The child, once again, separates their hands. He says, “No, I don’t want it.”
The little guy has finally had enough! He wants to create space between them and pushes his uncle to the other side of the room. The toddler wants her attention solely on him!
Proverbs 27:4 “Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?”

A Prayer for Intentional Friendships and Connection at a New Church - Your Daily Prayer - May 25
When we finally decided to make the change and find a new church, we sat down to talk about the things we were looking for. My heart felt grief wash over again. Aside from wanting a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church, at the top of my list was wanting a church that desired to truly know its people.
