Marriage is, without a doubt, one of the best things in life. Most people would wholeheartedly agree with that statement. Marriage is a sacred, life-long promise between two people who exchange vows before God and all their friends and family, saying they will remain together until death separates them. 

However, like anything worthwhile, marriage is hard and requires work. Every marriage has its ups and downs, but if you hold on tight, cling closely to your marriage partner and keep the Lord in the center of that relationship, it is so worth it. 

Taking the plunge and getting married to the right person is often the best decision most people will ever make. A clip posted on social media shows a husband sharing those exact sentiments with his wife, the love of his life. 

In the 30-second clip, the husband and wife stand outside on their porch near their front door. They are looking out onto their yard and taking in the scene. Seconds into the clip, the man shares how grateful he is to have such a loving wife and wonderful family.

“Oh yeah, we’re sure fortunate to have a family like we have,” the man says. “I’m not kidding ya.”

He adds how thankful he is that his wife said yes to his marriage proposal.

“I remember asking you to marry me, and I was so happy you did,” he tells his wife.

The two then share a loving embrace as the man talks about their lives together.

“We’ve done a lot together now, but it’s slowing down now,” he says.

Those sweet words are enough to make even the most detached and unemotional person shed a tear. What a beautiful, heartfelt moment.
