God asks the question... "is it a small thing I have done..." and our response is "is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of the land of Egypt that flows with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness?" We immediately think how short minded and ungrateful those Israelites were! But really, is there that much difference between their hearts and thoughts than ours, when we approach God with our attitude of entitlements that accompany this modern day religion of self promotion and materialism?
