Witnessing to a Roman Catholic - Ministry Videos

I find it easier to get straight to the law and the gospel with Catholics. You don't have to show them why the greatest proof of the Bible's authenticity is the impossibility of the contrary because they already confess it to be God's Word. In this video, Chris gets to a point where he realizes that his views are contrary to the Bible he says he believes in. Before I left he asked for our ministry's website and said he wanted to visit the college ministry of Calvary Bible Church.

When you witness to someone like a Mormon or Roman Catholic or any other religion that embraces the Bible as God's Word (at least verbally), all you have to do is get an understanding of their view, then hold that up next to what the Bible teaches. From there, let the Holy Spirit do His work.



When witnessing to an atheist, postmodernist, syncretist, agnostic, evolutionist, naturalist or any other non-Bible-based person, it's always more helpful to first show them the ultimate absurdity (with all gentleness and respect) of their view by simply asking questions. Once they realize that their views are resting in mid-air with no foundation, ask them, "May I show you what the Bible says about this?" Now they are interested because you just unraveled their worldivew with furious courage but more gentleness than a dove.
