No amount of economic "stimulus" will fix America's-and the world's-economic problems. You can't drink yourself sober and you can't borrow your way out of debt. The only fix is to take back the power to create our own money. Abraham Lincoln did it to win the Civil War. Colonial Pennsylvania did it to build the foundation of our nation. In fact, it worked so well that in 1764 the British outlawed it, and as Ben Franklin put it, this was the root cause of the American Revolution. But don't we create our own money now? No! Every dollar is created as a debt - mostly to banks. Prez. Obama isn't spending money, he's borrowing it - at interest! That's the problem. It's the compounding interest that's killing our economy. Right now, the U.S. government pays $500 Billion per year in the interest on the national debt!!! But there is a better way. Simply have the government issue U.S. money without such debt -- debt free money. The symbols of this system were hidden by L. Frank Baum within "The Wizard of Oz" when the last major attempt was made to reform our national monetary policy, in the 1890s when William Jennings Bryan ran for President. And don't fall for a return to a gold-backed money as being the answer. That's what the symbolism in "The Wizard of Oz" was all about. Baum knew that the bankers have always loved gold money – because they can control the gold.
