Sermon: "The Lord of Time and History," Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren

Sermon: "The Lord of Time and History," Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren

Does history unfold according to God's sovereign plan, or do we make our own history by imposing our own will on the course of events? These are two diametrically opposite points of view, and they come into historical conflict when Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, mocked the God of Israel and boasted of his accomplishments. Watch as Pastor MacLaren shows from Isaiah 37:21-28 how God has planned all that takes place in history, and his sovereign plan is the only foundation for meaning and signficance in life. This sermon was preached during the Sunday Worship Service of March 30, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church of Perkasie, PA (www.firstchurchopc.org), an Orthodox Presbyterian Church (www.opc.org). Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren is the pastor. Due to space constraints, the video ended before the sermon, so the full conclusion of the video is only available on CD.
