Jubilee Church of God

Our Sunday service is held every week at the Columbus Hall with a meal following. Attendance at the Sunday service varies from between 60-90 people. Street people attend our church regularly, and are shown love and acceptance. Efforts are made to build relationships with our people by getting involved with them during the week .We do this by visiting, helping out with groceries, clothing, transportation, and many other needs. All told we are in contact and have ongoing relationships with about 150 people, 90% of which are First Nations.
Many of the people in leadership at our church considered themselves beyond hope at one point in their life due to alcohol and other addictions, and they testify weekly that if Jesus could help them who were beyond hope, He can help anyone. We believe that God has opened a door of trust that enables us to minister to these people, and we have seen many positive changes in the lives entrusted to us. We do whatever we can to restore the hope and dignity that has been lost.
We realize that the situation we have in Kenora didnt happen overnight, and that it may be a long haul, but we believe that with God all things are possible.
