'Fighting For Me' Riley Clemmons Performs At The Dove Awards

Rising Christian singer Riley Clemmons performs her hit song ‘Fighting For Me’ at the 2019 Dove Awards.

In 2017, Riley took the Christian music scene by storm with her single ‘Broken Prayers.’ The song rose to the top of the charts and, since that time, this inspiring singer has continued to use her voice to spread God’s message.

Today, she’s belting out the words to ‘Fighting For Me’ and it’s absolutely soul changing!

“You stand up for me
In the darkest night
When my faith is weak
You're still by my side
You will never stop fighting for me
You will never stop fighting for me”

When Riley was working on this song, she pondered the question of what we all want. She realized that everyone wants to love and be loved and that’s exactly what we receive from God.

She told News Release Today, “Even on my darkest day, God chooses me and God fights for me. That’s why we wrote this song. And I’m glad to hear that people are resonating with it.”

“You will never stop fighting for me
When I can't fight for myself
Every word is a promise You keep
Cause You love me like nobody else”

These incredible lyrics are touching hearts all across the globe and, now, she’s performing at the GMA Dove Awards. What an incredible way to sing praises to His Name.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."

Jesus didn’t rule like King David with an earthly palace or majestic throne or royal robes conquering enemy nations through a mighty army. Instead, Jesus came in poverty and humility, to reveal a heavenly kingdom and to conquer the curse of sin through his own death.
