Barbershop Quartet Sings Elvis Presley 'All Shook Up' Cover

Barbershop quartet sings Elvis Presley ‘All Shook Up’ cover, and it’ll have you tapping your toes!

If we can agree that people coming together to join voices in a song is good, then more people singing together would be even better! At least that’s the motto for the Barbershop Harmony Society. It’s their goal to introduce more people to barbershop harmonies.

This is definitely one video you don't want to miss. The members’ voices harmonize beautifully with each other’s and the energy with this group is contagious. You can’t help but smile as you watch these guys who are clearly having a blast themselves. Babyfaced and clean shaved, the group does the perfect arrangement of the classic hit, complete with many of Elvis’ signature moves.

They sing in perfect harmony which is what the Barbershop Harmony Society is all about! They said, “Harmony compels us to blend, to cooperate, to create beauty. Indeed, to love each other. It’s time to think of the gift of harmony not just as a treasure for our own enjoyment, but as a tool for direct social impact.”

Their mission and passion for musical harmony is one of the most Christ centered gifts in the world of music.

If Elvis were alive today, he would have approved of the quartet’s version of his second biggest hit. This was one of Elvis’ most popular songs of all time after "Don't Be Cruel"/"Hound Dog", and it spent eight weeks atop Billboard's Top 100 Singles chart.

Billboard declared this the #1 single of 1957. "Don't Be Cruel" was #1 for 1956, the only time in the history of Billboard that the same artist recorded the #1 hit singles of two consecutive calendar years. When this song was released, Elvis was in the midst of an incredible hot streak. He had the number one single for 25 weeks in 1956, "Heartbreak Hotel".

If singers want to bring people together and get them dancing or put them in a good mood, Elvis’ song is a no brainer.

“Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” Romans 12: 16-18
