Christian Man Sings Funny Songs About Going Bald

The Christian band, I Am Spartacus, from a small town just north of Nashville, normally performs their pop/rock songs that help them share their faith and their take on current topics. Their style is heavy on harmonies, and their videos are often heavy on humor! In this video, the band’s lead singer and guitarist, Ben Peeples, hilariously covers a topic that seems very near and dear to his heart. . . male pattern baldness!

This is what they had to say about their latest video: “Male pattern baldness is the forgotten disease of men all over the world. . . We were inspired to write some encouraging worship songs for those who currently suffer without relief or recognition.”

“I used to have Mufasa's mane . . . but now my hair just clogs the drain. . .”

I just love clean comedy, and when Ben started sharing verses in the Bible about hair, I really cracked up! “Luke 21 17:18, ‘You will be hated for my namesake, but not a hair on your head shall perish.’ The promises of God,” Ben shares, looking heavenward while clutching his guitar.

He continues, “In the midst of my despair, when I couldn’t find my hair, oh no one seemed to care, but God, You were there!”

I needed a chuckle to brighten my day and this did the trick. Plus, I just had to share this funny video with a few of my guy friends who may be ‘hair-challenged’ these days!
