Color Blind Veteran Finally Sees The American Flag In Full Color

Kristin Ottolino and her dad John Cooper are both color blind. So when Kristin got a chance to get a special pair of glasses for her dad she jumped on the opportunity. These glasses let people who are colorblind see colors the way the rest of us do.
And when Kristin surprised her dad with them the first thing this 84-year-old veteran did was look to the American flag. You can tell this tough guy is overwhelmed taking in the full beauty of all the colors around him. But when he told them that the flag was 'always beautiful' I was moved. Seeing this hero see the flag he fought so hard for in its true glory is truly special!
