The American Humane Society stepped in, helping to reunite the retired military dog with the woman who never stopped missing him. From the moment Kristin learned Frenky might be retiring, she did everything in her power to bring him home. And when that day finally came, when Frenky was escorted from Fort Johnson to San Antonio, it was like the world had righted itself again.
