Bear Fruit
In Ezekiel 15, it talks about Judgement coming on the "inhabitants of Jerusalem" because of their sin. God pointed out just how useless branch wood is of itself, not even good enough for fuel to burn. Christ compared us to branches too, and we are still as usless today because of our sin, as the childeren of Isreal were then. It is only by abiding and remaining and abiding in Christ the "true vine", that we can bear the fruits of righteousness. We are utterly useless to do or be anything without Him.
