Preacher to the Papal Household.
Life in Christ was given as a preached retreat at Woldingham School. It comprises 8 talks based on St Paul's letter to the Romans and a series of short reflections based on the hymn Veni Creator Spiritus.

Life in Christ offers insight into a fresh spiritual renewal and is ideal for group or personal use. Fr Raniero presumes a certain maturity of faith and is very sensitive to those outside the Catholic Church.

Fr Raniero has been a Franciscan Capuchin Priest since 1958. In 1980, Pope John Paul II appointed him as Preacher to the Papal Household. In this capacity here gives weekly homilies during advent and Lent to the Pope, Cardinals and Superiors of Religious Orders. He addressed the College of Cardinals before the Papal Conclave. He is Italian and travels the world giving retreats in many languages including English and has a particular interest in ecumenism.
