Chapter 1 and 2 "In The Shadow of His Power"
Chapter 1, "Our Weakness, His Strength", addresses the method by which God will manifest His strength "Through" us. Chapter 2, "By Our Hands, the Hat of the Wizard", gets into how humanity had gotten off the track by seeking power independent from God using the subconscious Latent power of soul; an area forbidden from the Garden of Eden. Our only task is the surrender of the subconscious mind using our conscious mind which Paul the Apostle called "our reasonable service" found in Romans chapter 12. It gets narrowed down to our "free will", or willingness, not will power.
