Take a Look - Week 2 - Part 2

This is the second part of the second talk in the evangelical series following our "Open Sunday" in January 2009. The series was intended to give visitors (particularly non-Christian visitors) the chance to get to know us, and to understand some of the things we believe.

In this second talk, Mark spoke on the topic "If the Bible is true, how could it possibly be Good News?". He talked about the fact that the gospel means that we don't have to be "good enough" in order to be saved - that it is not up to us, but rather that salvation is a gift from God; about the fact that this gives us the freedom to be able to choose to follow God; about the hope and direction that we get (rather than the ultimate purposelessness of a life without God); and about the fact that if the Bible is true, then it means that there is someone who loves and cares about YOU.
