Dr. Jim Brettell - Martyr Spirit
Hi Everyone
"Merry Christmas"
On Sept 26, 2011 at the Monday Night Home Bible Study, Dr. Jim read a very profound statement to the group gathered there, and to those of us online at the time. I know the words impacted Dr. Jim, otherwise he would not have read it with such passion.
I hope that this will inspire us all. I believe we are living in a historical time in the church's history, and I hope we can all get this same vision that our pastor has. Dr. Jim's reaction to the posting of this composition was predictable. He does not want our eyes to be on him but on HIM, that is the point. We may very soon see HIM and as our eyes meet HIS let us each look forward to the "bema seat" anxious to receive our reward, and not reluctant because of missed opportunities while we now have the chance.
