The King is Dead, Long Live the King!
In this message from Christ the King Sunday we encounter how God's kingdom really works and it's not the way we might expect. Our culture doesn't like this "king" language and tries to relegate God to a place within our democratic sensibilities. Christianity is not a democracy where we get to vote God out of office when we don't like what God does. That's not how the Kingdom of God works! To realize the true meaning of the Kingdom we must go to the foot of the Cross and see a true servant King.
