Mark Driscoll: Don't Elevate Doctrine above the Holy Spirit

Another way we can be tempted to become like the Ephesians is when we only listen to our doctrines and stop listening to the Holy Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit every moment of every day—every Christian always has. Christianity is both a belief system we adhere to, and it's a relationship with Jesus, his people, and lost people that we enjoy.

This clip is excerpted from the sermon "Fundamentalist in Ephesus: All Head, No Heart," part #3 of our current sermon series, the Seven. It was preached out of Revelation 2:1--7 by Pastor Mark Driscoll in front of the ruins of the Celsus Library in Ephesus, Turkey.
