In this sweet video, a team of kind-hearted people work together to reach 1,000 acts of kindness in just one day!

According to their YouTube page, this group is “a team of proficient pranksters [that go] undercover to make deserving people’s dreams come true in Random Acts, BYUtv’s new original hidden camera series.” For this video, three people team up to convert a toll booth on the road to consist of a “Get” line, “Give” line, and a “???” line.

“Good morning! You are in the Give line,” says the toll monitor to a driver. “Would you like to pay it forward today and pay for the car behind you, too?”

“I wouldn’t mind at all!” says a man as he hands over some money. “The one behind that one as well. How about that?”

“Yes!” the woman says enthusiastically as she takes the man’s toll money. “How is your day going?”

“Even better now!” he says. “Cause you’re serving others!” the woman replies. “That’s right!” the man says right before driving off.

There were so many positive interactions like this one, not just in the “Give” toll line, but in all of them. In the “???” line, some people were given cupcakes, air fresheners, and even free movie passes. In the “Get” line, some people even gave money after hearing that someone in the other line paid for their toll. And there was a woman in the “Give” line that gave $100 to cover the tolls of 100 cars!

There were so many smiles on the faces of the drivers as they were pulling away from the toll booths. “Everybody should do this!” exclaims one woman as she drives away.

“A truly phenomenal day of kindness,” says one of the toll booth operators. “But we didn’t hit 1,000 random acts. We hit 1,121!”

What a beautiful thing to see when hundreds of people come together to make the world a kinder place for everyone.
