Matthew West Performs Hilarious 'Quarantine Life' Original Song

In this hilarious video, Matthew West performs his new original song called ‘Quarantine Life.’

“We’ve all been living that #QuarantineLife. So, I wrote a song about it. Had to release a little bit of the crazy!” Matthew West writes about the song. “Hope it puts a smile on your face.”

At the start of the song, Matthew West sings about wanting to go shop at Target and getting a drink from Starbucks. But his new reality is drinking bad coffee through his homemade mask. It’s a hilarious start to the video and very relatable for this present time!

Then, he goes on to sing the catchy chorus.

“Quarantine life, quarantine life
Can’t lose weight, but I’m losing my mind
Quarantine life, quarantine life
Killing that corona with a Clorox wipe
It’s lonely inside but we’re gonna survive
This quarantine life, quarantine life
It ain’t all good, but it’s all alright”

The next verse of the song, Matthew West sings about how he might have had a birthday but he’s unsure about what month it actually is. And how he considers it a win if he takes a shower. Then he talks about how his wife misses the salon and how he’s just finding out that she’s not a natural blonde. It is so funny to see this personal side of the singer and to see him find the comedy in this quarantine situation.

Towards the end of the song, Matthew West goes on about all of the things that he is missing at the current moment. From leaving his house, hugging his friends, doing what he loves by playing at his shows, and going to Cracker Barrel brunches after church, there sure is a lot that he can’t wait to get back to once things get back to normal. But like he says, we’re gonna survive this together and it will be alright!

Quarantine Life

We’ve all been living that #QuarantineLife So, I wrote a song about it. Had to release a little bit of the crazy! Hope it puts a smile on your face. P.S. my wife is still mad about the lyrics in the 2nd verse.
