Hollywood got it right!!! - Popular Christian Videos

This is a sample of the 1989 motion picture Glory. It's about the first black regiment

in the union army ( The 54th). They knew that they were

just as good of a soldier than given credit for. The 54th was only used for manual labor,

until granted after many requests to fight in the war as well.

Their first test was to stop confederate troops on James Island, which they did

at a price of 42 American soldiers.



The next battle was next to impossible. They needed to take Fort Wagner,

which was a suicide mission (at their request as well). This scene

is where they know they could very well not make it through this one.

As you know Hollywood can make a mess with the films they

put out. I always keep a eye out when Hollywood does something

right. Here's is a great example.



This movie is a must to rent if you haven't seen it.
