Frontline Singers Bring The Tears With Original Song Audition 'Strange Old World'
When professionals on the front lines of the pandemic aren’t saving lives, they’re lifting our souls too.
The Frontline Singers bring the tears with their original song audition, ‘Strange Old World.’ From paramedics to teachers to police officers is what the group Frontline Singers is made of and you don’t want to miss this performance.
Gina Georgio and James Beeny founded this choir during the COVID 19 Pandemic because they wanted to save not only lives but also spread a message of hope.
With lyrics like: “Where every boy and every girl living in this strange old world. We'll see the best that we can be...they will learn from you and me,” it’s no wonder why they were given a standing ovation from the audience.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as their lyrics spoke of the troublesome times during the pandemic but also how individuals on the frontlines put their lives on the line to save not only lives but also uplift humanity. This beautiful performance reminds us all that God created us for relationship, community, and to carry each other's burdens because we can’t do it alone. It also brought Britain's Got Talent judge, Alesha, to tears and her words echoed what every heart in that room felt.
"I found that really moving. I hung on to every single word. It was so poignant, so lovely, and we are in debt to you. It was very touching,” she said. Simon added, “What we've gone through the last two years, it's surreal. Out of it comes moments like this.It gives us a chance to say thank you to all of you because it's people like yourselves who protected all of us. We have good times ahead, I think."
That’s right, folks, beauty comes out of the ashes, and like Simon says, we have good times ahead of us as we praise God in how he works all things together for our good. Even though the pandemic was utterly tragic in lives lost, we did find ways to grow closer together and learn to value the things that make us human-like hugs, attending church, attending school, and being healthy.
What a beautiful tribute to those who stood on the frontlines for all of us.
Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.”

A Prayer for Wayward Children and Grandchildren - Your Daily Prayer - January 14
We don't know what is going on in the hearts and minds of wayward children and grandchildren. God doesn't ask us to know, but God does say to ask, seek, knock, and pray without ceasing.
