Housefires - Get Back To The Well

‘Get Back To The Well’ by the Housefires will quench the need you have to connect with Jesus. On a hot day, nothing revives us like a cool stream of water. Whether we drink it or take a plunge, water refreshes our body and soul. The worship team Housefires takes our need for Jesus and puts it into a form of worship that leads us to the well of everlasting life.

“Are you hungry, thirsty, wondering and searching? There is a well, sure to satisfy. Are you needy, weary, so tired of being empty? Every day, you're barely getting by. There's a well to satisfy.” As they sing, their collective voices create a fresh energetic sound that makes it feel like you’re in the room worshipping with them as they usher the Holy Spirit in.

Housefires is a worship group based out of Georgia where that host worship nights at Grace Midtown Church. The band includes Nate Moore, Kirby Kaple, and Tony Brown. Beginning in 2014, they have released five albums and are most known for tracks like ‘Good Good Father,’ ‘Build My Life,’ and ‘Yes and Amen.’ The band was named after the life of their church, small groups in which worship and praise began lighting up each home with God’s holy fire. The band set out to create worship songs that were birthed from what God was doing within their group collectively.

Their song ‘Get Back To The Well’ is about stripping away struggles, challenges, and distractions that keep us from meeting Jesus at the well of life. Their song reminds us Jesus is standing at his well of living water and offering us the life-giving spirit of God, peace, comfort, salvation, and his deep love. If you feel as though you’re stuck in the middle of a spiritual desert with a parched soul, take a listen to ‘Get Back To The Well,’ and let Jesus quench your thirst.

“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God,” Psalm 42:1.
