Mom’s Hysterical News Report Following Son’s Trip To Dentist

One mother, a reporter for an Indianapolis television station, used her journalistic skills to create a hilarious report after her son’s dentist appointment.

Remaining and staying healthy requires regular dental checkups, including dental appointments. No one enjoys a trip to the dentist. Even if you have no cavities or any other dental issues, paying someone to poke and prod around in your mouth with sharp, pointy objects is never a fun experience.

Mothers understand the importance of taking their children to see a dentist regularly. That’s why mother and reporter Kayla Sullivan took her son to the dentist. But given her profession, she decided to use skills to create a hilarious before and after report of taking her son to see the dentist.

While holding a still-packaged toothbrush, substituting it as her microphone, Kayla gave viewers on Instagram an update on the contentious situation.

“The only thing more terrifying than your own dentist appointment is the one for your young child,” Kayla said. “I can tell you if my son has a cavity today, I will feel responsible and be overcome with mom guilt.”

She says she will feel overwhelming guilt despite working with her son diligently on his oral and dental health.

Seconds into the report, Kayla cuts to her son in the dentist’s chair being examined by the medical professional. Next, the young man waits patiently for his teeth x-ray.

The tension is palpable and could be cut with a knife as Kayla keeps her audience waiting on pins and needles for the final report.

Luckily, Kayla and her son are relieved. Everything is OK, no cavities and no mom guilt.

“This just in: no cavities,” Kayla says with excitement and relief.

However, she understands that she still has her work cut out for her. Keeping her son’s teeth pearly white will get no easier as Easter swiftly approaches.

“Our thoughts and prayers are for the Easter Bunny to remember this stress and bring less sticky, healthier treats in the spring,” she said.
