MONEY! How often have I heard a co-worker say, “If I won the lottery, I’m walking away from this rat-race job to spend my days living the good-life on a warm island beach, or a penthouse apartment in a big city.
In today’s message, I share a story about someone who held a $10,000,000 dollar lottery ticket who faced this very challenge.
How he used his wealth provides us considerable insight to address this week’s challenging Gospel when a young man asks Jesus, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?”.
Jesus responded, “Go, sell what you have, give to the poor and you will have treasure in Heaven, then come, follow Me.”
