High School Choir Sings 'Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus'

Worship the Lord with gladness as a choir of high school students perform ‘Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.’

This classic hymn is also known as ‘The Heavenly Vision.’ It was written by Helen Howarth Lemmel back in 1918. The iconic hymn was inspired by a pamphlet entitled Focused, written by the missionary Isabella Lilias Trotter.

Now, decades later, this worship song has become a beloved classic that continues to touch hearts all around the world.

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.”

The Fountainview Academy is a Christian high school located in Canada. And these choir students take their mission very seriously. On the school website, the music program aims for “reaching those who are searching for Christ through media, and music productions.”

Today, the students are leading us in worship with the beautiful words of ‘Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.’

Just listen as they belt out these words of love and praise for our King.

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face”

This powerful performance resonates with hearts all around the world. One viewer said, “Love seeing these young people sincerely worshiping God, through Jesus. Gives me hope.”

What a blessing to watch the next generation praise our King.
