‘No Longer Slaves’ Live From Bethel Music, The McClures And Amanda Cook

A group of unbelievably gifted musicians turned in a stunning performance of “No Longer Slaves,” a song about the freedom available in Jesus Christ.

Fear often keeps people from achieving and reaching their potential. Whether it’s fear of failure or of judgment, people will cower and run from such situations. Fear enslaves, it only holds people back and it does not propel people forward to more extraordinary things.

The Bible is full of individuals who were fearful, believing they could not accomplish the task that God had set before them. They thought themselves to be inadequate. However, God remained by their side and was with them throughout the entire ordeal. God gave them freedom and victory over their fear.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Bethel Music, The McClures and Amanda Cook all sing about that freedom from fear in “No Longer Slaves.”

As the song’s opening verse mentions, God, who is always faithful and loving, made a way when there did not appear to be one once again. He delivered them from the hands of their enemy.

The song’s chorus emphasizes the idea that fear no longer has a hold on God’s children. He is all-powerful and mighty, able to do much more than the limited human mind could ever imagine.

“I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God”

According to the video's description, the musicians’ performance in the clip took place while on tour, during a stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The packed crowd can be heard singing along, with dozens of people holding their hands up, praising the Lord.

Isaiah 41:10 “Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper, my true right hand will be your support.”
