Judge Howie Mandel Hears A Capella Street Busker And Invites Her to Audition

One young woman got the chance of a lifetime when she was invited by Canada’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel to come on the show.

Life can and often does take totally unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes those unforeseen detours can be great, wonderful and life-changing. And sometimes, these once-in-a-lifetime and unpredictable opportunities can walk right up to you, as was the case for one young woman.

A video posted to YouTube shows a street performer, Samantha “Meave” Pearson, sitting and singing along a busy street. Her beautiful singing had amassed quite the crowd and the sound even caused Howie to investigate the source of the lovely singing.

Howie was so impressed by the young woman that he told her to come on the show to perform.

Later in the clip, that woman appears on Canada’s Got Talent stage in front of the four judges and the studio audience, a very different venue from her usual performance location.

Prior to her performance, Meave mentioned that she had no expectation of being on the show.

“I can’t believe I’m here right now,” she said.

Her plans that day had consisted of her going home to eat pizza, she confesses. Also, due to her wholly surprised and unexpected appearance on the show, she was forced to sing a cappella.

But not even having to sing without music could stop this talented young woman from showing off her God-given talent and stunning voice.

Meave sang The Animals’ hit “House of the Rising Sun.” She blew everyone, including the judges, away!

She brings a country sound and feel to the classic song, making it her own. In the end, the woman who did not have any inkling she would be on the show, had the judges and the audience on their feet applauding!

Absolutely amazing!

Psalm 105:2 “Sing to him, sing psalms to him: talk you to all of his wondrous works.”
