Settled on the break of the world famous Salsa Brava Reef is the small town of Puerto Viejo. Made up of a mixture of Ticos, (Costa Ricans) Afro-Caribbeans, Europeans, and Native Americans, this town's atmosphere has won the hearts of many. Alternative Missions is pioneering new ground in Puerto Viejo. Ministry options include but are not limited to:<br />

There are so many opportunities that await us in Puerto Viejo. Currently Alternative Missions is pioneering a new music cafe ministry and skate park in this small town. This café and skate park will serve as a meeting place for local youth, small group Bible studies, worship services, community events and more. In addition, we are working to develop a network of house churches as well as build a successful youth and children's ministry. <br />
