Does she feel safe? Threatened by you? That is not her problem, it is yours. If he’s supposed to portray Christ to his wife, and she feels threatened, then he didn’t do it. Does she feel understood? Would she say he understand her? God requires that of me. Do I accept and value her? Do you cite her God-given qualities? Praise her? Does she feel cherished? Her heart heard? God requires this of us.
