New classes and programs available (without having to add new staff) include: AP Biology, HS Fitness & Health, HS Cooking & Nutrition, Beginning Band for all Central 4th and 5th graders, ESL English and ESL Study Hall (with fellow HS students as tutors), 2 Foreign Language labs with dedicated WiFi to provide online access to our Spanish curriculum, K-6th Spanish at the West Valley; A Middle School Dinner Theater to add to the current HS Fall Play and Spring Musical; Greatly expanded utilization of the web and technology to enhance Upper EL learning; AC in the Gymnasium for the first time ever (for pennies on the dollar in cost to PC); NAVIANCE: Online access to comprehensive college and career planning for HS and JH students and parents; Football program expanded to include a full JV schedule; More than 120 new students to add to our ranks; A new HS student asked, "Why are we talking about the Bible in History class?" – That is Christian education at its purest: every subject taught from a distinctly Christian perspective.
