As the local body of Christ, it's wise to periodically check our vital signs to make sure we're where we need to be.

The problem is that, since we're not an actual physical body, we can't apply the usual temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiratory rate tests to see how we're doing. So how do we test our church? The best way of doing this is to compare ourselves to the original church found in Acts. This small group, empowered by the Holy Spirit, spread the message of Jesus Christ at an incredibly fast rate.

Over the next five weeks, we'll explore Acts, learn about that first church and get a realistic vantage point of where we are as Believers.
