Get away!! I am a sinful man!!

Often in out lives we think that just because we have had some small failing that we are not worthy of the love of Jesus. This is not correct. Jesus calls people who have sinned to follow him. In this gospel Jesus performs a miracle for Peter and two of the apostles, and Peter gets on his knees and says "Depart from me Lord - for I am a sinful man"! However, Jesus then calls him to follow him and to become a fisher of mankind. (Likewise Moses was also reluctant at first to follow God after the seeing the burning bush and hearing the voice of God - however God wants us to follow him and experience his love even when we do not think that we ourselves are worthy.)
