Down from His Glory

This lovely hymn expresses the deep gratitude of the heart to Jesus who humbled Himself in the form of humanity and died on the cross for us. The words of the hymn was composed by William E. Booth, 1921 using the music of the famous Neapolitan song, 'O Sole Mio' (Eduardo di Capua, 1898). This hymn has found its way in a number of hymnals and is one of our frequently sung ones in our evening song services. Lyrics and tune from https://www.preciouslordtakemyhand.com/christianhymns/downfromhisglory.html. Yours trully in Christ, Peter Lam
