Great is Thy Faithfulness
Jeremiah saw the devastation and death in Jerusalem at the hands of the Babylonian army and penned his Lamentations. Out of the depths of despair he gave us a nugget of hope in the faithfulness of God: 'It is the of Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.' (Lamentations 3:22-23). Let us be encouraged. We are not consumed by the challenges of life because God's compassion fail not; great is the faithfulness of our God. Let us sing of the faithfulness of our Lord.
