Niemann-Pick Disease Type C, Kids Unite to Save Gabrielle
Yesterday, I visited my son's school. While my focus is creating a national presence through venues like Youtube, I had no idea what was going on behind the scenes. Gabrielle's Elementary School Classmates are lining up outside of the school's office with their donations every day. Children carrying jars and piggy banks, asking to donate. It's creating quite an emotional impact on the employees that work there. After all of the change is counted, daily contributions are announced over the loud speakers.
These kids have done, and continue to do everything they can possibly think of, to help Save Gabrielle LaVerde from Niemann-Pick Type C, which is a fatal disease. We all know that there is a chance, a sliver of hope, that with experimental treatments, Gabrielle might live.
