Trio Performs Chilling Rendition Of 'Say Something' On The Voice Kids
Samuel, Sabeschni and Hannah are all competing against each other for the same prize. However, ironically, they all have to sing together. They have to have moments of shining individually, while still knowing how to blend as a group and support one another.
The trio begins singing beautifully and emotionally. Each singer has a moment where they shine. Every single artist is gifted in their own ways. Then there are various duets, finished by a full out trio singing out on the chorus. The group has tight harmonies and wows the crowd.
After the performance the judges critique the three contestants and determine who will be the competition winner. The boy is selected to win the battle and move forward. The two girls congratulate Samuel and exit the stage as the celebration occurs.
This causes me to think about the Bible verse to run in a way as if only one receives the prize. Jesus is our way to Heaven, but we are each called to run the race of faith while we are here on the earth. Let us each be reminded to run well and give God our all for the sake of His kingdom.
“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way as to take the prize. Everyone who competes in the games trains with strict discipline. They do it for a crown that is perishable, but we do it for a crown that is imperishable." 1 Corinthians 9:24-25
