Extending a family with new additions is always such a blessing. In this video Robert Irwin gushes over his new niece and his sister Bindi.

Robert Irwin is a multi talented young man who is continuing the legacy left behind by his father Steve. Robert is being interviewed in this extremely sweet video about his new baby niece Grace. Bindi Irwin married Chandler and the two now have a 3 month old daughter. Robert talks about his joy watching his kind-hearted big sister be a mother. He shares the excitement of introducing baby Grace to wildlife such as koalas. He also reveals that he is a guitar lover and plays her music while she falls asleep.

Robert says that he is trying to be the “funcle,” the fun uncle. Robert then talks about the meaningful video footage of his dad while he was a young boy. Even though his father passed away at a young age, Robert is able to remember and learn about his dad through the gift of those videos. He then shares about how this year he signed on to do a special for shark week. He says that it was one of the most amazing trips that he has ever been on. Robert says that diving with sharks was an incredible experience. Robert says that his mom was very encouraging of him taking on the sharks. He opens up about his healthy sibling rivalry with Bindi. She swam with whale sharks and now he swam with great whites. Robert’s passion is to tell the world about wildlife conservation.
