Carrie Underwood Performs Gospel Medley At 56th ACM Awards

Country superstar Carrie Underwood stuns the world with a gospel medley at the 56th annual ACM awards.

Carrie Underwood became a household name after winning the fourth season of American Idol back in 2005. She won over the hearts of America with covers of songs such as Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" and “Bless The Broken Road” from Rascal Flatts.

After her win, she quickly climbed the country charts and made a solid name for herself in the country music world. It’s been 15 years since that momentous audition and Carrie is committed to using her gift to glorify God.

In 2021, Carrie announced that she would release her first full-length gospel album, My Savior. The album reached number one on the music charts with classic hymns like ‘How Great Thou Art’ and ‘Softly And Tenderly.’

Recently, she took the stage at the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards for a stunning gospel medley of songs from her latest album.

Halfway through the performance, she is joined on stage by CeCe Winans, a legend in the Christian music world. Together, they sing a heavenly duet of the beloved hymn ‘Great Is Thy Faithfulness.’

“Great is Thy faithfulness, great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me”

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
