9-Year-Old Performs Violin Rendition Of 'Hallelujah'

Leonard Cohen’s rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ is one of the most popular songs of all time. But when Cohen first released ‘Hallelujah,’ it was not an instant hit. The song came out in 1984, but it wasn’t until Jeff Buckley released the song on his 1994 album, ‘Grace’ that the song really started to shine. Since then, many people have covered this powerful song, which sounds like a perfect blend of a rock ballad and a gospel worship song. Some notable performances include, Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Susan Boyle and Bono.

Today, we get to hear a very special rendition of this hit song and it’s absolutely beautiful. Karolina Protsenko has been playing violin since she was 6 years old. This child prodigy is truly talented beyond her years. Recently, a video of her playing the pop hit ‘Despactio’ on the street went viral and now Karolina is picking up quite a following. Now, this young girl is taking on a classic as she performs an incredible violin cover of ‘Hallelujah.’

This beautiful melody truly gives this song a whole new feeling of hope and inspiration. And can you believe that it all came straight from this little girl? While some may argue that this is not necessarily a Christian song, many people feel very moved by it and feel closer to God when they hear it. And this instrumental version is truly out of this world. Who else is listening to the beautiful song on repeat right now?
